Despite the desire of the masses of residents to see inside the new station after the official ceremony had concluded on Monday, the Times was given special access to film and photograph some areas in the new station.
Some places remained off limits, of course.
But here you'll see the charging docks, the four cells complete with televisions, and some much-loved new training rooms decked out with all the video conferencing gear one could hope for.
In a special addition, you'll see the memorial wall, decorated with memorabilia and cabinets proudly displaying the policing history of Inverell.
A community open day will be held sometime in the near future, police have said.
