"It's the wrong time of year to be shaving your head," David Pischke laughed, but there was no "ifs or buts" when his wife Christine asked him to do it for a mate.
The couple will be shaving it all off for their friends, but this isn't the first time they've had a brush with breast cancer.
"We are getting our heads shaved for breast cancer, as our dear friend Christina Smith is fighting against breast cancer now," Christine explained.
"We thought we'd help them out any way we could. It gets the community involved, family and friends, and it's our way of supporting them."
"Being friends for a long time, I was in the bridal party, I thought, well, what else really can I do?" David added.

Christine said she's not a fan of short air on herself, but this time she "can't wait".
"I'm not a fan of getting my haircut at all!" David laughed, "But you do these things for your mates."
"We tried to keep it a secret, but they twigged on... they were quite overwhelmed."
They've both had family members diagnosed with the insidious disease, and this time they are pulling out the stops to do what they can.
Booked in at Bab's Lorraine on June 29, the couple will be shedding it all.
