Two people, including a pregnant woman, have been injured in a crash on the Gwydir Highway on Thursday morning.

Just before 3am Thursday, officers from New England Police District were called to the Gwydir Highway, about 20km west of Glen Innes, following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
The driver and front passenger - a woman who is 34 weeks pregnant - were both injuried in the crash.

The pair, both aged 25, were treated at the scene before being taken to Armidale Hospital.
A male passenger in the rear of the vehicle was uninjured.
Local police established a crime scene and will be assisted by the Crash investigation Unit as inquiries commence into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The Gwydir Highway was closed in both directions with traffic diversions in place on Dodds Lane and Waterloo Road.
