Free food and drinks will be served at 6pm, prior to the concert. The event will help raise awareness of depression and hard times for farmers and farming communities, and organisers guarantee a night of mixing with same situation people without dipping deeply into the hip pocket.
Everyone is invited to attend to see the feature artist, Simply Bushed, and also an appearance by Brooke Jade, a young local talent who is hoping to enter star maker this year in Tamworth.
Brooke said she looked forward to performing on the night.
“It’s going to be a really great night and we hope to see a lot of people out there,” she said.
“To sing alongside Simply Bushed is huge. I love them, they’re the awesomest guys, they really are.” The 24-year-old country singer said she has an album coming out towards the end of the year, and will be touring when that is released.
“I’m getting excited and writing lots,” Brooke said.
“We haven’t decided on a name for it yet. ‘A Little Bit of Me’ is one, but I keep changing my mind at the moment.
“I grew up on farms so the album will be about me growing up there.”
