Ross Hill Public’s almost 80 new arrivals coped well with the heat, while children at Holy Trinity School were thrilled to try out the play equipment.
Ross Hill assistant principal of kindergarten Margarete Coddington was pleased with the strong attendance to the school’s Best Start interviews.
“They’re all going very well,” she said.
Tears were non existent at Inverell Public thanks to a successful early bird transition program.
“Very happy, smiley little faces this morning, and very keen to learn,” Eleasha Griffin said.
“It’s a known environment for them and they can step in with their peers straight away.”
