Around 120 people helped raise over $3000 for Terry Lawlor, as part of a wider effort to buy the family a van.
Confined to a wheelchair due to motor neurone disease, a van will greatly increase Terry’s mobility as he strives to keep up with his wife and two young daughters.
The weather was damp, but spirits remained high throughout the altruistic competition.

The ambulance team were thrilled to win the Triple 0 Challenge shield.
“There was a bit of a dispute from police and firies, but that was expected,” paramedic Clint McSpedden said.
“We’ll take the morale boost and keep it on our wall.”
The day doubled as a tribute the Terry’s father Leo Lawlor, who worked as a local paramedic for over 40 years.
“I think the town just remembers the good things he did and it’s payback time,” Dave Curtis said.
