With their lead candidate for the upper house, David Shoebridge alongside Dr Robinson, The Greens will announce a plan to build a new renewable energy hub in the Northern Tablelands as part of a state election commitment to a publicly-owned 100 per cent renewable energy retailer.
They are due to make the announcement at 2.30pm outside the Armidale Visitor Information Centre.

Dr Robinson is the fourth candidate to stand for the seat, running against incumbent Nationals MP Adam Marshall as well as Labor's Debra O'Brien and Rayne Single, who is a candidate for the Shooters, Fishers & Farmers party.
The Greens say PowerNSW will be established as a publicly owned energy company designed to deliver 100 per cent renewable electricity that is reliable and affordable.
The Northern Tablelands hub would be one of four regional hubs rolled out across the state as a part of a $5 billion Regional Clean Infrastructure investment, where targeted investment in new network capacity will help deliver renewable energy to the rest of the state and build jobs in regional communities.
