Fairly new to the world of modelling and pageants, Jannah will represent Australia in the Philippines for the Milestone Miss and Mrs Global International World Pageant.
"I've only being doing these for around eight months now. My first ever pageant was Miss Australia Continent."
With the issue of domestic violence (DV) so prevalent throughout Australia and the world, Milestone pageants have vowed to support its victims.
Jannah said she was proud to be part of a pageant that supported men, women and children through DV.
"I've been through a domestic violence relationship myself. I decided to apply directly to the international pageant and the international director really liked my application and wanted me to be part of the Australian team."
Prior to competing internationally, Jannah will hold a number of fundraisers and appearances, mainly around Tamworth- where she currently works and lives.
"I will be working closely with the Red Cross. With my nursing background, I know the organisation has been tied to the medical industry for a very long time."
Jannah will also choose her outfits for the different sections and craft a costume that represents Australia.
Her idea is to incorporate the Waratah flower, which is not only native to Australia, but also represents NSW.
"We'll also complete an interview, but we don't know the questions. They mainly ask things such as 'what do you wish to achieve?' and 'what makes you unique?'.
"During my reigning, drawing inspiration for my job as a disability support worker, I would like to be a national director of my own pageant."
Jannah hopes to one day create a pageant especially for men and women with disabilities.
"I want to offer the same opportunities, help group their confidence and self love, and show the community we're all the same no matter our ability."
Jannah was born in Inverell and moved to Tamworth when she was 20 to grow her nursing experience. Whilst in Inverell she worked at the hospital and McLean Care.
