Club members took over the kitchen and catered for 40 men and women staying at the Inverell Showground as part of the BlazeAid initiative.
Members of the lady Saints served up a variety of home made casseroles and desserts to the hungry volunteers on Wednesday evening.
There were some very thankful, and very full, volunteers who appreciated the efforts of these local sporting stars.
Inverell Saints men's coach Justin Pay said the club was always overwhelmed by the support they are given by the community at each of their events.
"We are always looking for any chance we can give back."
And that's exactly what they did on Wednesday evening after raising more than $4,000 for the Inverell Breast Cancer Support Group last Saturday.
