Anyone who has taken a class or been part of the gallery's social groups will have a piece on display for all to enjoy.
Inverell Art Gallery manager Jo Williams invited locals and visitors to make a day of it by heading to the markets in the morning before stopping by the gallery from 10am when the exhibit opens.
"The exhibit really varies from intricate needle work, pastels, paintings, felting, tatting and crocheting. We are really happy with the improvement from the students, you can see it in their works."
Although usually done by the gallery's hanging committee, this year the students have been involved in setting the exhibit up.
Jo said the process has given students a deeper understanding of exhibiting work and what works well together.
As the event also doubles as the gallery's open day, entry will be free and newcomers are welcome to check out the gallery.
"We will also have tutors here on Sunday so if anybody is interested in classes they can see what the students have been doing and have a chat to tutors about what they might be interested in.
"We're really looking to build on our classes this year so it would be nice to see some new faces," she said.
Some of the Inverell Art Gallery classes are held during the day, others later in the evening to accommodate working participants and tutors.
The gallery will be open until 1pm on Sunday. A people's choice award will be open for voting throughout the day.
The owner of the piece that receives the most votes will be given an art gallery gift voucher.
"Being our open day, we encourage and welcome anyone who hasn't been in the gallery before to come in and see what it's all about," Jo said.
