A man has been charged for high-range drink driving after Inverell police responded to reports of a vehicle erratically travelling along the Warialda Road.

The silver-coloured BMW was allegedly sighted driving on the incorrect side of the roadway and had hit a gutter on Tuesday, June 23.
Police attended the area at around 5.30pm where they observed the BMW at the intersection of Warialda Road and Swan Street.
The male driver was removed from the vehicle and subjected to a roadside breath test. After returning a positive reading, he was escorted to Inverell Police Station to undergo a breath analysis.

This subsequently resulted in a high-range PCA reading. The man was issued with an immediate license suspension notice and a court attendance notice to appear at Inverell Local Court on August 6.
The 26-year-old was also issued with a court attendance notice for the same date after police found he was carrying a knife without a reasonable excuse.
Meanwhile, a 50-year-old male was issued with an on-the-spot licence suspension and a court attendance notice for driving with a mid-range PCA.
The man was stopped at a stationary random breath testing site on the Glen Innes Road near Inverell at around 2pm on Monday, June 22.
The man, in his white Nissan Maxima, returned a positive roadside breath test and was conveyed to Inverell Police Station where a breath analysis returned a mid-range alcohol reading.
He will appear at Inverell Local Court on July 23 for mid-range PCA.
