Now why are you picturing this, when you could enjoy it for yourself at the Inverell Chamber of Commerce and Industry Winter Frenzy Sale this Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27?
When the local chamber promoted registrations for their annual sale, member Kylie Wilks from David Reid Homes wondered how she could try to be part of this free promotional opportunity.
It is difficult for builders to participate when they sell services rather than floor stock products, so she knew she had to get creative.
It was then that Kylie came up with the 'mad idea' to create a series of photographs showcasing Inverell businesses with the backdrop being a locally built home.
"My main aim was to show the world how much Inverell has to offer, from great builders to great services and awesome products to fill our homes with," she said.
And show that she did. When Kylie took her idea to the Inverell Chamber of Commerce and Industry they were overjoyed with her enthusiasm and embraced her plan with open arms.
The snowball effect went from there and now over 90 businesses are participating in the Winter Frenzy.
Some businesses have chosen to be included in the images, some are offering store wide sales and others have provided a link to their website or social media for you to peruse their goodies in your own time.
The collaboration to make this promotion a success was all thanks to volunteer time from several locals and their businesses.
Kylie was assisted by Georgia McDonald, Camey Edwards and Leigh Dorothy Photography in the styling, production and editing of the photoshoots.
You can see a sample of the beautiful images on the Inverell Chamber of Commerce and Industry website and social media platforms. You will be amazed at how much variety Inverell has to offer.
Given the difficulty of the last few years for rural business, from drought to fires to Covid-19 restrictions, it was time to remind the local region that Inverell is still up and running and better than ever.
The Inverell Chamber of Commerce and Industry decided that the Winter Frenzy promotion was just what was needed to support local businesses and show the community why you can't go wrong to support local.
"Now more than ever, building our community and supporting each other is vital. This collaboration of over 90 businesses is bigger than anything I could have ever imagined. It shows that the Inverell business community wants to work together to strengthen our town.
"Our Winter Frenzy is going to have something for everyone. It is going to show the region that everything you need in life - you can get from Inverell," Inverell Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Nicky Lavender said.
The annual Winter Frenzy Sale run by the Inverell Chamber of Commerce and Industry is going to be the shopping event of the season with over 90 local businesses participating.
From stock take sales to store wide discounts, the options available are endless.
There will be something for every member of the family with art, fashion, health and well-being, beauty, homewares, accessories, food, technology, business, finance, camping and outdoors, automotive, gardening, building and renovation options on offer.
Every business and their promotion is listed on the Inverell Chamber of Commerce and Industry website as part of the 'Choose Inverell' promotion.
