Inverell Pony Club was well represented when the Walcha Showground was a hive of activity at the weekend for the annual Zone 13 Pony Clubs' Jamboree.

Zone 13 member clubs met for three days of competition in what is the Zone championships.
From the dressage, showjumping, campdrafting, show riding and sporting events, Glen Innes were crowned best under 17 team of 20 riders overall and won the Sinclair Cup.
Inverell Pony Club took 19 riders who successfully qualified for the team at previous interclub gymkhanas.
The Inverell team included: Sophia Clarke, Sophia Lutvey, Mackenzie Lyons, Layla Cruikshank, Yasmin Bateman, Will Sinclair, Mack Stewart, Oliver Sinclair, Matilda Strahley, Jack Sinclair, Toby Adams, Danneika Lyons, Damon Murphy, Sarah Townsend, Makaidi Mair, Whitney Ellery, Tom Sinclair, Tyler Mair and Kate Townsend.
After a successful competition and the weather holding the Inverell teams of four all placed.
Junior 1 team (Mackenzie Lyons, Oliver Sinclair, Jack Sinclair, Mack Stewart) placed 4th; Junior 2 team (Matilda Strahley, Will Sinclair, Yasmine Bateman, Sophie Lutvey) places 3rd and the senior team consisting of (Danneika Lyons, Damon Murphy, Toby Adams and Makaidi Mair) took out 1st place.
Overall Inverell came third in the competition with individual overall placings in age groups.
Sophia Clarke reserve point score 7 under 9 girl, Oliver Sinclair reserve point score 9 under 11 boy, Makaidi Mair reserve pointscore 13 under 15 girl, Toby Adams age champion point score 13 under 15 boy and Damon Murphy reserve pointscore 15 under 17 boy.
Club captain Lyn Adams said it had been a successful year under difficult conditions.
"The club would like to thank all riders and members for their efforts in 2020 and invite everyone to next months AGM to select a new committee for 2021."
Zone 13 Chief Instructor Belinda Williamson was rapt with the turnout and the level of competition.
"The competitors rode extremely well, horses were presented beautifully," she said.
"It was good to see our smaller clubs, that have historically only had smaller numbers, building up their numbers and are now some of our bigger clubs."

Armidale's Michael Paull was the highest scoring individual of any rider from all age groups across the three days and received the Chief Instructor's trophy.
Williamson was also complimentary of the hours of work put in behind the scenes
"In trying times, everyone from the host club, Walcha, and the Zone 13 executive committee worked very hard to get it up and running," she said.
"We do all get in and do what is required."
For the first time in many years, Bundarra and Emmaville Pony Clubs fielded a full team of 20 under 17 riders.
Bundarra were rewarded for their efforts, finishing second to Glen Innes in the team point scores.
