The three days improved a range of skills for all the players and included a number of batting sessions that were videoed to highlight player’s strengths and weaknesses. Players were able to see where their techniques needed addressing.
The same occurred with bowling and Tim Sparke was able to highlight technical flaws and strengths in the bowling styles of the participants.
Software used at the highest level was available to demonstrate body alignment at the point of delivery, which allowed bowlers to make corrections to their action.
Participants also played a number of games that were used as warm up and warm down exercises, as well as developing game awareness.
The clinic was well received by all and the local junior association passed on a big thank you to Tim and Greg Sparke for their time and effort.
Tom Scoble and Richard Wilson were a big help and kept activities flowing so the coaches could spend time with all the players.
