The Suns set the tone from the first bounce and quickly got six points on the board.
In a great display of footy the lead changed several times with the Saints managing to hold onto a six point lead into the second break.
The boys really dug deep in the second half and started to match the intensity and toughness of the Moree team.
A superb fourth quarter saw the Saints pull away to secure a 20 point win.
Jordan Sue-Fong was again tremendous in the ruck, with Scott Thomas as always a consistent performer.
Other standouts for the match were Jack Vallance, Tim Beattie and Paddy O’Brien who are all making the most of the switch in codes.
Lachie Martin settled back into the forward line and proved his worth with an 11 goal two behinds performance.

The final score was: Moree Suns 2.5-17 5.10-40 8.14-62 10.21-81 to Inverell Saints 4.1-25 7.4-46 11.5-71 16.5-101. Spectators applauded players on both teams for their great display of AFL skills.
