Suffering the after effects of their hard fought victory over the Boars the previous week, the Hawks were reliant on President’s Cup players Todd Prince, Tyrone Green, Robert Dunn, Matt Edmonds and Robert Dunn plus Juniors captain Jack Stafford who all had played a full match earlier and all contributing strongly to the Hawks win.
Inverell got away to a promising start through tries to Justin Caine, Alex McCosker, Jack Stafford and Bailey Cosgrove after 20 minutes, then appeared to lose focus for the remainder of the half, not adding any further points and allowing Armidale in for two easy tries, to go to the break leading 20-12.
The half time break rejuvenated the Hawks with Tyrone Green, Brennan Cosgrove, Mick Watton, Jack Stafford and Todd Prince racing in tries in the first 25 minutes to allow the Hawks to forge to a 52-12 lead.

The Inverell Juniors were overwhelmed in the second half by the Armidale side, going down 54-18 after only trailing 20-12 at half time.

Inverell Hawkettes continued their impressive form with an 18-4 victory over Armidale.

Codie Ryan put Inverell further ahead just prior to half time and the score at the break was 10-4 to the Hawkettes.
A superb defensive display in particular by Maddie Green, Katie Fisher, Jess Southgate and Phoebe Baskerville and a last ditch try saver by Gaby Watkins kept Armidale scoreless in the second half, whilst Craigie and Ryan both crossed for tries to give them a double for the match and an 18-4 victory to the Inverell girls.
Best and Fairest points were awarded to Codie Ryan (3), Lenniki Craigie (2) and Nouveau White (1).
