An eager Tingha Tigers under-18s side travelled to Mead Park in Glen Innes to verse the Moree Boars in Group 19's first division grand final on Saturday.

As the only team in their four-division strong club to make the grand final, Tingha were determined to bring home a premiership for the small but talented village.
The first to get over the line was Tingha's Bayden Fritz just two minutes into the game however it wasn't long before Moree came back and with a successful conversion took the win from Tingha 6-4.
Tingha's Jye Lavender ran through a gap 15 minutes in and with the kick, took the score to 10-6.
Two more tries from Lombo and French saw the Tigers lead 20-6 at half time.
Things were looking tight with 10 minutes to go as Moree came back with a vengeance, the score sitting 24-20 to the Boars.
Lavender scored his second try for Tingha and a successful conversion by Connors saw the final score 26-24 at full time.
