Catering for divisions of under 5s right up to Veterans, more than 100 competitors will take the mats for kata and fighting with seeding points up for grabs.
Jin Ryu Kan Martial Arts Sensei Nick King said the championships will run in conjunction with the 2019 Sapphire City Festival drawing competitors from across the state and some inter-state.
"Hosting just over 100 competitors will be a good kickback for the community with accommodation, shopping and cafes. We apply for hosting rights every year to try and secure the event to give everyone a boost," he said.
The varying age divisions often encourages families to compete together and spectators are invited to watch the huge day for just a gold coin donation.
All money raised will be handed over to the local Fierce Female Farmers group to help with drought relief for farmers doing it tough around the Inverell district.
"We thought we'd help the fierce farmers initiative run through Margy to raise some funds and help the many farmers doing it tough at the moment," King said.
Starting at 9.30am at Holy Trinity Hall on October 20, around 40 local competitors will also compete in kata and full-contact fighting.
King said four seeding competitions are run throughout the year at Tamworth, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Inverell for fighters to gain seeding points for invitational events.
"We've got a few Sydney and coastal teams coming to try and get a place for seeding points. So it's going to be a great day full of talented competitors," he said.
