"There were a couple of steep climbs and one particular tricky rocky decent."
Three Inverell riders finished as state champions after putting in the work.
Peter Horwood finished first in the Masters 3/4 Men (40 to 50 years). Brad Newman placed third in the same division and Alywn Miller placed seventh.
Ian Rees placed second in the Masters 5/6 Men (50 to 60 years). In the elite division Brent Rees finished third.
In the Masters 1/2 Women (30 to 40 years) Jodi Mayled placed first and in the Masters 5/6 Women (50 to 60 years) Michelle Rees finished first.
