Rain meant all the finals at the Northern NSW Champion of Champions weren't able to be played but organisers were happy the kids were able to get some tennis in.
The kids got close to a full day's play in on Saturday at Inverell before rain washed the event out on Sunday.
Covid, and then rain, saw the 2020 event cancelled before covid again struck this year.
The 2021 event was meant to be played in August but was rescheduled to November.
"It was a shame [they couldn't play Sunday] but there was heaps of tennis played on Saturday. We had 21 courts so everyone was sharing courts and got a lot of matches in," Ryan said.
The tournament sees players from North West and North East (Tweed Heads down to Taree) clash.
"It's a really good event. The top North East kids from JUS series come to play," Ryan said.
