Elsmore Hall was successful in receiving one of twelve grants under “Construction in the Community” programs run by the Sapphire Wind Farm with contributions from CWP Asset Management, Zenviron, Vestas and Transgrid.
Although the original project submitted was for concrete pathways connecting the hall to the toilets, Program Coordinator Karen Fontaine, upon being informed the pathway project had been completed via other funding was willing to submit an alternate project to management that the hall committee was undertaking.
Even though this project was $700 dearer, the green light was given and the extra cost would be met by SWF.
This project involves removing the old suspended ceiling and fitting new framework as the old frame was starting to pull apart.
The total cost of the project is $7,669.20.
The Hall Trustees and committee would like to extend our deep gratitude to SWF and contributors for assisting the community of Elsmore.
